With all the viruses and nasty spyware that is on the web, it is imperative that every computer is protected. For those of you that don’t want to spend any money on bloated Norton and Mcafee, I recommend AVG.

It’s free, its simple and it’s fast. It’s updated everyday with all the new signatures and it even scans websites when you do an internet search and prevents you from click on harmful links.

It was one of the first anti-virus programs to be compatible with Windows 7 and of course it runs on Vista and XP.
